Keenagers, First Baptist Church adults ages 55 and better, gather together monthly for a great luncheon and fellowship in the church Fellowship Hall. Throughout the year, they hit the road and travel to places like Branson, Mackinaw, Nashville, etc. They also get together to take in a Montgomery Biscuit’s Baseball game, and attend plays at local theaters. They are always on the go!
First Baptist Church senior adults have reached their "golden years" and have discovered the secret that joy comes in serving others and growing in their walk with the Lord. Many of our senior adults volunteer their time for special ministries around the church such as staffing the Welcome Center or helping with the Wednesday evening Fellowship Supper. Several are connected to the Chaplaincy Ministry and visit the Enterprise Nursing Home as well as homebound members.
On Wednesday afternoons beginning at 1:00 p.m., our Senior Adult ladies and gentlemen come together for "Senior Game Time" at the church. They play an assortment of games (from cards to dominos), work on puzzles, and even exercise classes. They enjoy an assortment of snacks as well.
On Thursday afternoons several of our Senior Adult ladies come together to make quilts for Bill Barker, and NAMB Missionary in West Virginia.
