Children's Ministry

We have a passion for teaching children. We desire to come along side families in leading their children to a personal faith in Jesus Christ and to develop them into devoted followers. We believe in teaching in a variety of different ways to reach all children. We offer many different programs throughout the year to help teach our children about the Lord.

Weekly Programs

Sunday School

1-6 Grade

Gospel Project

Our Sunday School is a Christ-centered Bible Study  that follows  a chronological timeline of Bible events  – presenting the story of  redemption through Jesus  like kids have never seen before! Each  week, these  stories come to life through video, music, and  activities.

Worship with Family

3-6 Grade

We believe the best way for a child to learn how to  worship is  with their parents. Parents are to train  their children up in the  way of the Lord and one simple way to do this is to worship  together. We  offer simple worksheets and a fill in the blank  listening guide to help the children learn as they are  in the  Worship Service.

Sunday Evening

1-6 Grade

Bible Drill

We offer a fun time of games that help children learn to commit scripture to memory.  The children will have the opportunity to compete against other churches in our Association and the state throughout the year.  For more information about this exciting program we have, please contact Catherine Sims.

Children's Choirs

Grades 1-6

Children will learn to you music to worship and praise the Lord.  They will gain skills in pitch, notation, and  instruments through games, hands on activities, and  singing.  Bible stories and scripture are emphasized.

 Missions Classes

Girls in Action (GA's) – 1-6 Grade Girls

Royal Ambassadors (RA's)– 1-6 Grade Boys

These programs are dynamic missions discipleship  and hands on  fun! The children will learn to actively  serve their community and  the world through  missions.

Year Around Programs
We offer several fun camps, retreats, and Bible studies throughout the year.  Our monthly newsletter will let you know of all the fun activities we have throughout the year.

Examples of different programs we offer are:

Easter Egg Hunts – Held every year close to Easter for Babies – 6th Grade.

Vacation Bible SchoolWe offer this week long event in the summer.  Dates & theme will be announced in the Spring of 2019.

Centri-Kid Camp – We love Centri-Kid. We go every year to different locations in the United States.

Trunk or Treat – A community wide event where we sponsor a night of safe fun.

Christmas Parties – A joyful party were we celebrate the Birth of our Savior.

Refresh, Revive, & Renew: Parent’s Night Out – We offer a couple of fun nights so the parents can refresh, revive and renew their marriage while we provide an exciting night for children. Available for Babies-6th Grade.

Fun Trips – We like to have fun and build relationships. One way we do this is by taking several trips throughout the year.

We strive to maintain a secure environment for our children by locking down all areas during services and activities. We have deacons who monitor hallways and a Police Officer monitoring the outside as additional security. Parents can feel free to worship knowing that their children are safe and well cared for.
