Here at FBC, we have a passion for students! Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating environments where students prioritize thier relationship with Christ, influence their friends, and experience personal ministry.
We live out this passion by way of:
WORSHIP …a passion for God!
A Lifestyle of Worship (Romans 12:1-2; John 4:23-24)
Here at FBC, students develop a passion for being conformed to the image of Christ. The only certain observable sign of growth is a life of increasing holiness, rooted in Christian self-denial. The marks of such a life manifest themselves through personal growth in the areas of prayer, Bible study, fellowship, evangelism, service, and worship.
Experiencing Worship (Psalm 100; Acts 2:42, 46-47; Hebrews 10:24-25)
Experiencing worship occurs both within the individual and within the community of believers. In addition to worship with the FBC family as a whole on Sunday, students worship God together during our weekly INSIDE OUT and RUSH Hour environments.
Serving in Worship (Psalm 92:1-4; Ephesians 5:15-21)
Here at FBC, students are encouraged to live out their passion for Christ by using their gifts to help the community of believers worship God. If you would like to share your gifts in worship, please contact the FBC Ministry Team at

LIFEGROUPS ...a passion for People!
Sharing Life with Others (Romans 12:9-21; Hebrews 10:24-25)
In life, creating a sense of community and connecting with others is important. In the church, it's crucial. FBC Student LIFE Groups are small groups within the larger church in which students take care of the "one-anothers" in life. In a large church, it's important that community exists in order for relationships to be real and relevant.
LIFE is an acronym for "learn," "involve," "fellowship," and "evangelism." Each student in a LIFE Group is encouraged to be engaged in these four marks of a believer.
Another important aspect of our passion for students is helping them discover a place to serve. LIFE Groups are the best place to begin that process. Each LIFE Group is designed to help you find a place of service in the church, in the community and in the world.
Here at FBC, our Student LIFE Groups are a part of our INSIDE OUT environment which meets on Sunday @ 9:00 a.m. in B-110, under the sanctuary.
Here at FBC, we believe Bible study is an integral part of students developing a passion for God. How can we have a passion for someone we do not know? FBC Student LIFE Groups center around in-depth Bible study which reveals how we can be relevant Christians in the chaotic world in which we live. We have found that students who are saturated with the Word of God discover an insatiable passion for Christ.
MINISTRY …a passion to Serve!
In the CHURCH (Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12; 1 John 3:11-23)
In the COMMUNITY (Matthew 25:31-39; Acts 1:8; James 1:26)
In the WORLD (Genesis 12:1-3; 1 Chronicles 16:23-31; Matthew 28:19-20)
Our student ministry at FBC believes whole-heartedly that we are called to do more than just attend a church service each week. Jesus set forth an example of living out what you believe and we are committed to doing exactly that! RUSH Hour is our Wednesday night program where we are dedicated to growing closer to Jesus through a myriad of activities. From Bible study to local missions to international missions, throughout the year we do it all. We want to do everything we can to love Jesus in our actions and to make Him known! Come join us and see how you can impact the world and eternity for Jesus! RUSH Hour starts @ 6:00 p.m. and we meet at the Baptist Center.
