Here at FBC, we have a passion for Preschoolers! Our passion is to come along side families in leading their children to a personal faith in Jesus Christ and to develop them into devoted followers. We live out this passion by way of:

Worship …a passion for God!
Here at FBC, children develop a passion for God by learning how to become like Christ. Children are taught how to grow in their relationship with Christ by learning about prayer, bible study, fellowship, evangelism, service and worship.

Children ages 3-5 are invited to attend Preschool Worship

Preschool Choirs | Wednesday evenings 5:30 p.m. (during school year)

LIFE Groups …a passion for People!
LIFE is an acronym for “learn,” “involve,” “fellowship,” and “evangelism.” Each child in a LIFE group is encouraged to be engaged in these four marks of a believer. Here at FBC, our Children LIFE Groups meet on Sunday @ 9:15 a.m. In addition to LIFE Groups, children gather for an hour of discipleship each week.

We believe that learning about God should be FUN and EXCITING! Fun with the Son is a fun high energy ministry for ages 3 through Kindergarten that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in relationship to Him.

Ministry …a passion to Serve!
Here at FBC we believe that it is important that children are given the opportunity to serve in the church, community and in the world. The following are two ways we emphasize the importance of ministry with our preschoolers.

Mission Friends | Wednesday Evenings 6:15-7:00 p.m. (during school year)
Mission friends is for children birth through pre-kindergarten. The primary objective of Mission Friends is to provide a strong foundation for preschoolers in a Christian and missions lifestyle. Mission Friends provides developmentally appropriate mission learning experiences to help preschoolers move from a self-centered focus to a focus on others. Preschoolers love Mission Friends because it is an adventure in discovering the joy of missions as they learn about missions, pray for and give to missions, and do missions.

God's Backyard Bible Camp | SUMMER Wednesday Nights 5:30-7:00 p.m.

We are starting an awesome summer Wednesday night activity - God's Backyard Bible Camp!  Get ready for outdoor adventrue that starts in your own backyard and gets bigger each evening as kids take the love of Jesus into their homes, neighborhoods, and communities!  At God's Backyard Bible Camp, kids will participate in the large group excitement of Backyard Bash, experience God's Word at Backyard Bible Club, participate in service projects at Community Corner, plus explore and create through fun-filled crafts, snacks, and games.  It's all about service!

Small Steps Child Development Center
Small Steps, a ministry of First Baptist Church, is a half-day preschool for one year olds (walking) through pre-kindergarten five year olds. We offer a comprehensive, academic curriculum (Pinnacle) in a Christ-centered environment.
