Ben began his ministry at First Baptist Church Enterprise in June 2011 as Associate Pastor. He became the Senior Pastor in September 2015.
Ben holds a Marketing degree from Auburn University, a Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
Ben and his wife, Lindsay have five children – Libby, Susie, Annie, George, and Jacob. Ben’s hobbies include reading, jogging, golf, fishing, and hunting.
Ben is eager to preach and teach the unsearchable riches of Christ. His passion is to see Christ magnified through discipleship in the local church that mobilizes missions around the globe.
Associate Pastor/Pastor of Education
Kaleb has been serving as Associate Pastor and Pastor of Education since April of 2016. Kaleb previously served as Pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Elba, AL. Prior to that, he spent three years under the tutelage and training of Lakeview Baptist Church in Auburn, AL, for the purpose of being equipped for the gospel ministry. Kaleb holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from The Baptist College of Florida and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Kaleb grew up in Samson, AL, not far from Enterprise. He is married to Lindsay and they have two children—Tillman and Warren. His hobbies include: reading, writing, fishing, kayaking, watching sports of all kinds, wrestling with his boys, and driving his jeep.
Kaleb has a passion to train future leaders of the church both within First Baptist Enterprise and without. He has a passion for biblical truth, for training others to better understand and articulate truth and be able to faithfully engage the world with both truth and love.
Pastor of Music and Senior Adults
Edd came on staff in March 2016. He received a music education degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master’s degree from Mississippi State University. After growing up in Clinton, Mississippi, he spent most of his adult life in the state as a high school band director for eight years and as a minister of music since 1983. He and his wife Debbie are thrilled to be a part of what God is doing at First Baptist Enterprise.
Edd and Debbie have two sons, Matthew and Morgan, who are both married. Edd is an avid tennis plays and Debbie is a distance runner. Edd seeks to model his walk with God through the acrostic W.I.N.- Wisdom, Integrity, and ‘Nothers (how we treat one another).
Contemporary Worship Leader
Chris came on staff in April 2016. He is married to Chastity and has 2 sons, John Wayne and Cole.
In addition to being our contemporary worship leader, Chris is the Career Tech Director for Geneva County Schools.
Pastor of Students
Bryan Barrineau has served as our Minister of Students since June 2013. He has been serving in Student Ministry since 2000 at churches in South Carolina and North Carolina. He most recently served for four years in Hickory, North Carolina. Bryan grew up in Sumter, South Carolina, and graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, with a degree in Secondary Education and received his Master Degree in Christian Education from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He has spent time teaching and coaching at schools in South Carolina. Bryan Barrineau is serving as our Minister of Students since June 2013.
Bryan is married to Jennifer from Lexington, South Carolina, who is an operating room nurse. They have two sons, Henry, who was born in 2009, and Caleb, who was born in 2014. Bryan enjoys football, reading, spending time with his family, hanging out with teenagers, and hunting/fishing.
Minister of Preschool and Children
Catherine has been serving at First Baptist Church since April of 2010. She has served in children’s ministry officially since 2006. She has served at First Baptist Church of Phenix City, Alabama, and also on the International Mission Board in Peru as a teacher to missionary children.
Catherine grew up in Blountsville, Alabama, and graduated from Judson College in Marion, Alabama. She received her master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Catherine is married to Nathan Sims, of Dothan, Alabama. He serves as the pastor of First Baptist Church in New Brockton, Alabama. Nathan has been a pastor for over 20 years serving in Alabama and Louisiana. He is a graduate of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana. They have adopted six children from the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home. Jewel, Kate, Gracie, Silas, Rebecca, and Eli are the perfect addition to their home. During her spare time, Catherine enjoys spending time with her family and planning her next Children’s Ministry event.
Joel began serving as Administrator in September 2016. He previously served as Church Administrator in Hoover, Alabama and Tennessee churches for the past 16 years. Prior to that, Joel and his family served in Asia as ISC missionaries with the International Mission Board. Joel is a CPA in Alabama and graduated from Appalachian State University with degrees in Management and Accounting. He then received his Masters of Divinity in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and he holds MBA and Masters of Social Administration degrees from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.
Joel grew up in Spruce Pine, North Carolina and married Connie Williams from Taylorsville, Kentucky. They have three daughters; Allison, who works as the Publications Specialist for the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention in Nashville, Tennessee; Meredith, who is a CPA and Auditor with Ernst & Young in Atlanta, Georgia; and Lauren, who is a recent graduate of Liberty University and looks to pursue a career working in the fashion design field with a focus on special needs children. Joel enjoys trips to see family, working with computers and watching football and Star Trek on TV.
While not an ordained minister, Joel believes every Christian is a minister and should be actively involved in the ministry to which they are gifted. Ministry is not just for Ministers! Joel also believes in developing a “Ministry Mindset” in every area of support to see that the more we can do to prepare for worship behind the scenes during the week, the more that members can avoid distractions and truly worship with other believers.
